EASD 131 parents/guardians are invited to join a presentation on suicide prevention presented by Suicide Prevention Services of America on behalf of the EASD 131 Student Tracker Program on Thursday, October 5, at East Aurora High School from 6 PM – 7:30 PM (enter through door 8). The presentation will be offered in English and Spanish. 

The presentation will cover:

  • Myths about suicide and mental health,
  • Warning signs and risk factors to identify someone who is having thoughts of suicide,
  • Help and resources for someone who is struggling with mental health and suicidal thoughts.

Los padres/tutores de EASD 131 están invitados a unirse a una presentación sobre la prevención del suicidio presentada por Suicide Prevention Services of America en nombre del Programa de Student Tracker de EASD 131 el jueves 5 de octubre en la escuela de East Aurora High School de 6 PM a 7:30 PM (ingrese por la puerta 8). La presentación se ofrecerá en inglés y español.

  • Mitos sobre el suicidio y la salud mental,
  • Señales de advertencia y factores de riesgo para identificar a alguien que está teniendo pensamientos suicidas,
  • Ayuda y recursos para alguien que está luchando con la salud mental y pensamientos suicidas.
