O'Donnell School awarded with Two MiniGrandsLa Escuela O\\\\\\\'Donnell premiada con Dos Mini Becas

Today Mrs. Archibald from our DREAMS Program and Mrs. Howard, our librarian, received surprise visits from the Aurora East Educational Foundation(AEEF) where they were honored with Mini Grants that will help them to get more educational resources to continue to help our students reach their full potential! Congratulations to our wonderful teachers and staff!

Since 1993, the Aurora East Educational Foundation has offered an educational grant award program to benefit the students of East Aurora School District 131.

Since the Foundation’s inception, over $360,000 in grants have been awarded to teachers and schools. Each year, the Foundation Board reviews and selects grant projects of a relatively broad scope that have the potential for substantial impact. These projects are implemented during the current and/or following school year. The purpose of the “mini grant” program is to allow innovative ideas to be tested and the education of our youth to be enriched through these ideas. Past activities have been very successful and have made the educational experience of our students even more rewarding.

¡Hoy Mrs. Howard, nuestra bibliotecaria, y Mrs. Archibald, responsable del programa DREAMS recibieron visitas sorpresa de la Fundación Educativa Aurora East (AEEF) donde fueron honrados con mini becas que les ayudará tener más recursos educativos para seguir ayudando a nuestros estudiantes a alcanzar su máximo potencial! ¡Felicitaciones a nuestros maravillosos maestros y personal!

Desde 1993, la Fundación Educativa del Este de Aurora (AEEF) ha ofrecido un programa de subvenciones educativas para beneficiar a los estudiantes del Distrito Escolar 131 del Este de Aurora.

Desde la creación de la Fundación, se han entregado más de $360,000 en subvenciones a profesores y escuelas. Cada año, el Consejo de la Fundación revisa y selecciona proyectos de subvenciones de un alcance relativamente amplio que tienen el potencial de tener un impacto sustancial. El propósito del programa de “subvenciones pequeñas” es permitir que se pongan a prueba ideas innovadoras y que se enriquezca la educación de nuestros jóvenes a través de estas ideas. Las actividades anteriores han tenido mucho éxito y han hecho que la experiencia educativa de nuestros estudiantes sea aún más gratificante.
